Early enrollies can count back to last years class if you wound up with less than 25 enrollies due to academic or other issues out of your 25 signees. If we signed 27 last year but 2 didn't make it to campus then we would be sitting at 25 for last year already so wouldn't be able to count any back. Usually we sign more than 25 and count on a couple not making it to campus. Whether we can count any back depends on where we are sitting with last years class.

last year we had 27 signees but were able to count 2 early enrollies back to the previous years class which had 23. I don't think we have that situation this year.

We could sign 27 this year and count on a couple not making it to campus, but in the end only 25 will be able to enroll. The other limitation of course is the 85 scholarship limit. NOt sure where we stand with that. I'm sure we need some attrition.

sometimes you have a problem, like what happened with Elliot Porter, who signed with us but then we didn't have room for him because we didn't have the expected number of academic issues. He went to Kentucky for a year then came back to us.

SEC has a self imposed rule that limits a team to 28 signees on any given year, so these teams with 30 and more commitments still can only sign 28 of them.
