I'm not flaming or even arguing with hostility.

I've probably posted more on this board than you. And there are several known LSU posters who can attest to that and my good record here.

Relax.

Your Aggie brother is the one you should be addressing here.

I was addressing a point that claimed LSU has and always will be more talented than A&M. Sorry if I think that's ridiculous.

Myles Garrett, Kyle Allen and Speedy Noil would be a salty top three and I would that up against yalls top three especially if Bama makes a couple late steals from y'all.

You are pretty much counting on us missing all of our targets here. Still, we'd be left with Brandon Harris, Trey Quinn, Clifton Garrett, Ed Paris, and company if we missed on all the rest. We'll be fine.

You silly, boy.

I agree with this. I think what hurts other SEC West teams is that Bamas run of top classes has been so good, they have remained deep at every position.

I agree. I think Bama might represent an outlier in that regard. Meaning we can't really use them to defeat what I'm saying. This is especially true when you consider they have arguably the best coach in history.

They have the best talent coached by the best coach. It's only natural that they'd do what they've done.

That was the hypothetical presented by the LSU fan...

Good thing you could beat us in our worst years. Too bad recent history exists.

I mean it was only two Presidents ago. I'd still consider that recent history.

No it wasn't. It was your hypothetical.

It doesn't matter. This is who we need to beat to get where we want to go. As long as they keep pulling top classes, we need to as well.

Clinton wasn't even halfway through his first term. I'm not sure if a single recruit this year was even alive. 29-20

And you are.

I think LSU has recruited well enough to compete and beat Bama every year.

Whether they're coaching well enough on an annual basis might be a different story.

But I agree. You're not going to beat Saban with top 20 classes. You need be in the top ten at least, and LSU regularly finishes there.

Regardless, LSU's 2014 class is every bit what you need to beat Saban. I think there's a strong argument that A&M's is, too.

I would put Leonard Fournette, Tony Brown, and Malachi Dupre above any top 3 you can manage. How sad are you going to be when Speedy signs with LSU?

Anyway, your team couldn't even win the SEC West with 3 top 10 draft picks, including a Heisman winner. It only goes downhill from here...

I'm hoping that Jennings and/or Harris' athleticism will put us over them. Athletic QBs seem to be kryptonite to Saban.

We are right with them. If we finish strong with this class, we will be fine. Last year we had them and let them off the hook.

The only thing that will make me sad is seeing Speedy in an offense that won't utilize him. Wasted talent.

You lost me here dude. Cam gets the most out of talent. He will be better at LSU. He wont have JF running around and creating offense.

You can't possibly be talking about LSU, the team whose #1 WR had 75 catches this year, compared to 65 for Mike Evans. Hmmmm...

Which one had more yards? More TDs? LSU ran the ball 61% of the time last year. Why y'all honestly believe y'all can utilize a WR better than A&M, I can't figure out. If y'all utilize WRs so much better than us, does that mean we utilize fullbacks better? Running backs? Tight ends? The nature of our offensives means we utilize different positions differently. I can't believe y'all think otherwise. It's incredible.

Its because of your offense. JF scrambling around and throwing the ball up says more about how you use your qb than your recievers. Yall have to be concerned about the future. The D hasn't improved and Manzel is leaving. You cant really replace that lightning in a bottle.
