Would you reserve spots for the transfer portal if LSU could sign high four star or five star talent?
I wouldn't.
Absolutely you have to leave at least 2 spots open.

What if that spot is for Omari Abor or Anthony Lucas? I’ll answer for you: no, you wouldnt

I think it definitely depends on the prospect. The chances of us having a 25 man class are slim anyway if you look at how recruiting has played out in recent years.

Obviously, they would make room for both Abor & Lucas.
However, if one or both of those guys claimed the last scholarship, I guarantee you someone else would get ‘processed’ so that they would have at least one scholarship to carryforward for use in the transfer market

No, you can’t guarantee that. Because, all processing will/should be done way before that time

Tell Bordelon to kick rocks if you actually were trying to stock pile talent then.

Iota - it’s looking like Malik Agbo is trending downward on the big board of quite a few programs.
And, for the record, I believe this to be the case at LSU also. I remember having a funny feeling about the “rescheduling” of his June 11th OV (reasoning offered by the staff was bc Brad Davis had not yet been made official - however, the BD situation was almost identical the week prior but did NOT result in the rescheduling of Armella, Banks & Dewberry’s OV on June 4th).
My question - Do ‘O’ & Davis currently consider M. Agbo a ‘take’ or is he still being evaluated by the staff??
Based on his Jr.-year tape that I reviewed, it is pretty clear That his athleticism is not on par with guys like Emery, Armella, Umeozulu, &/or Campbell. In fact, I would go as far as to say it’s pretty clear that Agbo projects as a Guard in college (and his recruiting rank may very well not be done falling before final evaluations of 2022 class).

He addressed this and said we have him on the back burner.

My bad, didn’t see it. Thanks for letting me know, Hawk. Appreciate it

Just heard some not so good news on Armella from Mike Scarborough on his pod cast. He says he doesn't think LSU leads for Armella.

You need to kick rocks racist.

Yeah, Purple Tiger, I listened to Mike's show earlier tonight and heard the same thing.
On a more positive note, it sounds like we are going to pick up our 2nd TE (Mason Taylor) for the 2022 class. And, just so happens, M. Taylor attends the same HS as Julian Armella - hopefully, Armella & Taylor are buddies, which would mean that Armella now has three (3) friends on roster.
No idea if that would make LSU more enticing to J. Armella, but I sure as hell hope it would b/c I really want to see us land another 'blue-chip' OT (and, Armella fits the mold I had in mind to a 'T').

I think you are right. As that is what my thoughts were when I heard that Mason Taylor is visiting LSU tomorrow and then later own heard he was committing tomorrow as well.
