Looks like we dodged a bullet. Got a bunch of gas I need to do something with! Time for a 4 wheeler ride!
I'm relieved, but still thinking about everyone south.

Oh damn
You and foot are neighbors. That was my primary hunting grounds from '75 to'85. Grew up on Lodi.

We randomly lose power when the weather is perfect. Not 1 second of lost power during this. I think the city went around clearing trees before the storm. There was a fresh cut in our back yard by a transformer.

How did ole Chester feel about that?

quote:Depends. I hunted the other side of the bayou except when he baited for doves, then I snuck around the other side by the aviation building. We watched for his suburban and ran like hell. The Walker/Lewis side did not care that I hunted it.

I fished in his front yard. I suspect he hated that, but Sister liked me and would come down to talk to me from time to time. He and my dad became friends after my dad retired. Dad had free run of his property and would crawfish. When Chester died, Drew told my Dad to get the frick out.

Strange bunch of folks for sure.

Wow...never paid much attention, but didn't realize we had so many CENLA TD posters here. I live in West Pointe as well...thought the trees along the bayou would have left a few presents in the yard this morning, but seems all is well.

You guys could have a party.

Damn. We literally never lost power on the north side on Bunkie. I lost it for a little while on the east side but it was off for about 30 minutes. Still rolling today.

Hell, there's at least 5 that work along Jackson street. There were three in this building until one got perma-banned
