We are blessed enough to be one of the only countries with drinkable water at the turn of most spickets and yet we spend Billions a year on bottled water. Does anyone else think that's crazy?

I used to be a huge opponent of bottled water, but then I moved to New Orleans. The last 10 years in BR spoiled me.

I had a friend growing up who's grandparents (from metairie) would fill up milk jugs of water to drink. I thought they were exaggerating!

A case of 24 bottles if water at Home Depot sells for $3.29.

This comes out to a mere 14 cents per bottle, and they still turn a profit at this rate. You are hard pressed to find a bottle of water in a convenience store for less than $1.29 these days. This means people are making well over $1 profit per bottle.

Bottled water is a huge money maker in this country.
