Not sure if I will be replacing gutters, but I know the soffit needs to be replaced at a minimum. Figure it will be cheaper overall to do all three at once.

In Metairie. This seems to be the one type of work that I do not know where to start.

TIA.

Wish I could help but I can’t think of anyone down there to call.
That’s the primary reason I don’t like gutters. They may be necessary in some cases but they cause issues and they keep it hidden from you until it’s major.
Ask friends or neighbors around you if they know of a reputable carpenter they would recommend. Some handyman may be able to do it, or he may know of a carpenter.
Good luck.

Start with getting quotes from siding installers...quotes are free and you can make a decision from there.

I used Vinyltech about five years ago. They sent out a group of illegal immigrants with limited knowledge but they were willing to make things right when I pointed out deficiencies. They did a decent job but they definitely need a babysitter.

The guy that cleans my gutters is replacing some rotten wood and installing new gutters for me soon. Maybe ask some neighbors if they use anyone.

I also had an insurance claim about 5 years ago when a pine limb fell and damage some of the gutters on the back and the wood underneath. A gutter install company did both the repair and the new gutters. I would imagine most of these gutter cleaning/install contractors deal with this all the time.

Good call on the gutter company. I’ve never used one, but I made my bones doing soffits and fascia in the eighties and what few gutters I needed to install I hung them myself.
The only thing that I see might be a problem is thatOP was undecided about new gutters or not.
