Trying to tame these weeds in my yard. I have St. Augustine grass, but the weeds were unusually bad this year. Was going to use granular weed and feed, then realized it would be better just to use a broadleaf weed killer first, then feed/fertilize later. With that being said...do you tend to get better results using liquid or granular form of the herbicide? I was thinking about using either Atrazine, 24D, or something along those lines...whatever kills the most types of weeds that is safe for St. Aug grass. Also, is hand mixing the liquid concentrate better than using the bottle that attaches to the hose to spray?

Liquid is better. Concentrate mixed in a backpack is better. Manor will work on most broadleaf weeds and is cost effective. Celsius is about $90 a bottle for 10oz and worth every penny. 10 oz will last you multiple years unless you own a couple acres.
