I paid $500 for a nice condition used 33"

This one is 33" deck with 17.5HP engine. Says he just replaced the battery and had the blades sharpened. It's 4 years old. He's had it for sale for about a month, so I'll wait a couple of weeks and see if he drops the price. I already have a Cub Cadet riding mower, but the deck is 42"(I think) and it's hard to get in a few spots in my yard.
There's also one close by for sale for $550 that comes with the bagger attachment. It's only a 28" deck though.

quote:man, you need to jump on the one with the bagger. They're stupid expensive for the Snappers. Plus you said you already have one with a larger deck so the 28" Snapper could get into tighter places.

$500

Do these Snappers do a good job sucking up leaves in the fall? I don't normally bag grass, but not having to rake leaves in the fall would be worth the $550 investment.

they turn into essentially lawn vacs with the bagger attached. As stated earlier, fitted with the high lift blade the suction is better than most mowers making it the perfect yard vac.

Yes they really do. A high lift blade and the air lift kit which installs on the said blade basically gives it “wings” which helps with the vacuum. Bagging attachment is easy to take off too. When I’m not bagging I run the ninja blade encase I want to mulch and also because it doesn’t throw the cut grass as far I find.

Ha. I emailed the seller last night and I never noticed the date on the ad because it was over a year old. He sold it a year ago and forgot to delete the ad.

Dumb question, when did they come back on the market. I like a clean cut over a fast cut and twin blades haven't matched my old rear engine model. I've had a 42" Deere for 3 years, good mower average cut.

Bout right, not all that long after I bought my zero turn. Thanks. Guess I've found a toy to buy other than another gun.
