Weed spray that wont hurt tree?

I neglected the backyard during the winter and now the mulch around my loquat trees is overrun with weeds. To the point where its too much to sit and pull weeds by hand. I’m either going to tarp over the mulch for a few days to try to kill the weeds or preferably, spray something to kill them.

Is there a spray I can use that won’t harm the loquat trees? Trees are about 3-4 years old and 6-7’ tall
