I have some very stubborn weeds growing out of our monkey grass that just keep coming back no matter what. My wife will pull them down to the roots and a few weeks later they appear again. Is this torpedo grass? If so, is there anything I can spray/rub on it to kill it that won't kill the monkey grass or flowers too?

That looks like Bermuda.

Fusilade

Check the label to see which flowers it can be sprayed on but I’m pretty sure monkey grass is.

Wow...thank God! I was almost certain it was torpedo grass, but I know very little about weed and lawn care in general (but I'm learning thanks to you guys lol).

Anyways...I'll checkout that Fusilade. Any other recommendations for something I can spray or rub on it that won't kill the monkey grass or flowers neadby?

Fusilade

Anything cheaper that I can spray on it to kill the bermuda, but not kill the monkey grass or plants nearby?

Bermuda, anywhere other than a golf course, is a weed.

It's the toughest out there. It repairs itself and fills in better than any other grass. There is a reason golf courses use it.

Is there anything cheap that'll kill Bermuda, but not the monkey grass? If not, I'll just get the Fusilade II...but it's $80 for a quart .

It is clear now that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Basically any high end yard in the south is bermuda or zoysia.

You can do so much more with Bermuda in terms of fertilizing and spraying also . BTW, used on baseball and football fields as well

No

yards in the south that are bermuda are bermuda because it took over a centipede, st aug, or zoysia lawn.
