Washing machine is working but when it goes on spin cycle it makes a noise that gets louder the faster it spins. Sort of sounds like something dragging or rubbing. Any ideas?

Kenmore Elite Oasis HE, model number 11027082601.

Recently changed the hub kit, so I know it is not that.

Belt could be misaligned or deteriorating. Could also be the counterbalance in it acting up.

Top loader? That's the same thing ours was doing when the bearing went out a couple years ago and I had to replace it. Not a terrible job with the help of youtube. definitely cheaper than replacing the machine.

Went an ordered a bearing kit was $50. Saw a video on YouTube, looks to not be that difficult.

Likely a bearing or the transmission. Bearing repair isn't done on all machines. On top load GEs you need to replace the entire tub.
Cabrio and it's similar units are the ones we change the most often. Have special tools just for that machine.
Front load machine are really hard to do. Last bearing in a FL samsung was nearly a $500 job.
