I've got an area on the side of my house that is full shade and stays pretty wet. I can't get grass to grow there. I'm thinking of doing something like this, but I don't know what turf grass to use in an full shade/wet area.

TIA!

Might be best to use a ground cover like dwarf mondo grass (top) or creeping thyme (bottom).

If it is almost 100% shade then you won't get any turf grass to grow. Dichondra and dwarf mondo would be good choices.

Thanks everyone. I'll look into dwarf mondo. I may try a test plot and see what happens.

If it doesn't work, I might just go full Boise State
