Wondering if ironite will help germinate the new grass seed and if I can apply both at the same time? Any benefits? Or a no go?

I don’t see where it will help with seed germination but I can’t think downside of applying them together other than a potential distribution problem - difference in size of ironite granule vs seed size, and setting your spreader appropriately to get the best distribution of both products if you are mixing them together.

Didn't think of that. May have to spread separately.

Save the ironite for after your grass germinates and fills in. If you want to throw something down with seed, use a starter fertilizer.

It's a waste putting it down that early
