What are you using to keep spiders away outside.

My mower, golf cart, everything is covered in their webs

Suspend SC (Deltamethrin) works well on spiders.

This time of the year drives me nuts. I inspect houses, foreclosed, behind in mortgage, insurance claims etc.

I'm most often walking the entire yard and encounter web after web on my trip. So far, knock wood, I haven't come out with a web and the spider attached.....

There were a couple suggestions but I need help on this as well. I just bought a house that backs up to a wooded area/creek in North Carolina and there is no keeping the spiders away. Spray for them often. Sweep for them just about daily and the webs are back up the next day. It is not a big backyard and they string webs from trees in the back all the way to the upper deck. You cannot walk on the lower level without running through all of them.

shite, I'm lucky if they aren't back within a few hours.

It's ridiculous.

My mom had the same problem. I sprayed VIPER insecticide and haven’t seen a spider since. I spray it every year as an upkeep.

If you are having spiders in a somewhat enclosed space, buy a box of mothball and put it in the area. Do not open the box, the "natural" smell coming from the box will keep the spiders away. This works in my shop.

Sprayed Suspend inside my house and a mix of Talstar/Suspend on the exterior after firing our pest control company.

That combo has been deadly. Any insect Ive found inside since has been either DOA or ready for their last rights.

In the long run itll be cheaper and I know for a fact my spray coverage is better.
