Not if it's feral and you aren't feeding it/acting like it's owner.
Just plant a row of catnip plants way away from your vehicles (they walk on and scratch vehicles). Feral cats will come. Your neighbors may fricking hate you though.
And rat snakes are a godsend, so be careful what you ask for when you start fricking with ecosystem/food chain.

eta: My brother has one in an old shed and named him Fred. And it's good to occasionally see Fred or his discarded skin.
