Long story short I don’t like the leathered side so I’m thinking about flipping it to the cut side and sanding the cut lines. Which really aren’t bad.

There are wet polishing systems you can invest in, about $700 to get started. Might be able to purchase sheets of the proper abrasives and make something though.

Any reason you can’t polish the leathered side or are the grooves too deep? I was thinking honed. Would be a whole lot easier than flipping them.
