I agree 100% with everyone else saying it's the condensation from the roof. You mentioned in the original message that it doesn't do it when the AC isn't running much. But that is when the temps/dew points are lower so that would make sense. I wonder if you have videos on your Ring following that last cold front we had to see how much condensation was there. Dry air = no condensation.

I'd also guess that wall is facing in some variation of north and that corner just doesn't get enough sunlight to dry all of the splash on the brick, thus leading to the algae buildup.
