i had a goodman coil leak due to some dissimilar metal corrosion issues

some reaction between the aluminum and copper that causes it to leak


i had it replaced for around 1400 i believe

if i'm not mistaken, there was a class action lawsuit over these coils

This is exactly what caused mine. shite systems from a shite company.

And yes to the earlier poster. Mine only had a 5yr warranty. Trust me I called.

Goodman sucks. I would never recommend them. From the time we bought our house we had an issue with at least one every year.

I found my paper work for the units in my attic and they clearly have a lifetime warranty.
