I would think twice about Lennox, out of 2 units Ive had 3 condensers(things) and 1 motor go out. Keep in mind my house is 6 years old, yep, you read that right SIX years old. I'm fixing to buy all new stuff I guess, not really sure what else to do.

You are either one incredibly unlucky person or it sounds like you had poor quality initial installs of the units that are “killing” the systems with each subsequent repair.

You sound like a good candidate for posting on the HVAC-Talk AOP residential forum to get opinions by HVAC professionals on why this might be happening. I’ve read threads on that site with homeowners having problems similar to yours, and not necessarily with Lennox systems.

if inside units are 290 years old

They most assuredly need replacing.

Thanks for the info, I'll check that site out. I talked with Lennox consumers dept this morning, they are interested in my problems but can't refund me any labor cost. So at this point I'd rather have a different company screw me out of my money... Trane, you're on deck!!
