I have a 20X20 Metal building serving as a pool house. It is a metal build with the large beam in the center and perlings for the side structure. It sits on a slab. The company also finished the inside walls with the same R-panel as the outside walls. I originally was just going to live with the bare concrete. I’m now wanting to put some vinyl plank flooring down on the slab but the metal goes all the way down to the slab. Since there is not a particular baseboard to butt up against the panels, the flooring would have to go underneath the panels for a cleaner look. Any suggestions on how to trim the bottom of theses panels? Jamb saw with a metal cutting blade Reciprocating saw? TIA

I wouldn't try and cut, it will never turn out as clean as you want.

They do make some metal flashing and some foam closures that will fit tight against the panel, but may protrude too far into the room. Other than that, you could just put a base molding and caulk the gaps?

You can but the r panel then just have a piece of metal broke at a 90 degree with whatever lengths you want to cover it. Mechanically attach to floor and r panel.

Any metal building place can break it for you and it’s cheap.
