#1 Is Dimension (Hy Yield granuals) temperature sensitive, it's in the mid. 80's for the next few days. Grass is bermuda and centipede.
#2 I have a area bordering my property that is outside of the lawn. It's a lot of trees and weeds and vines. I've killed most of the weeds and want something (pre-emergent?) to keep them from coming back. I want just barren ground under the trees.

I'm no expert, but can't you just go scorched Earth in this area with RoundUp?

No, you can apply it now.

That’s a harder question to answer without knowing what weeds you are trying to control. It will kill many, not all, annual winter and spring/summer weeds that sprout from seeds provided it is applied before those weed seeds germinate. Won’t kill perennial weeds that spread from rhizomes, for example Virginia Buttonweed, Dollarweed,..,

If you want barren ground you’ll need more that pre em. Razor/oust would do it.

I say barren ground meaning pesty weeds and vines. looking for a place to park my tractor and implements. Maybe a picnic table and fire ring. I've treated the area with "round up" and I would like to plant some shade tolerant ground cover (ferns etc). Big problem seems to be nut sedge and vines.
The dollar weed and va. button weed I think I can handle.
