I bought a Westinghouse trifuel 10500. It recommends a 5 hour break in period of nothing above 50% load. Is it sufficient enough if I just run my deep freezer for 5 hours? Or should I put more load on it?

Freezer isn't going to put much of a load on it, run a space heater or two.

Not sure about yours but my chest freezer uses less then 200w when compressor is on. Which is about 10 to 20% of time.

Not much of a load for a 10k generator.
I would load it down at least 3 or 4 k if you can.

I just didn’t have a space heater. I’ve been cycling on a blow dryer every 20 mins or so for 10 mins just to get it loaded some. Almost done with the 5 hours. Is that okay that I didn’t put too much of a load, but just got it running?

A good load will help seat the rings, you really aren't going to hurt it by putting it at a 50% baseline then going up around 75% at times. Plus, if something does go wrong it's better to know now than when you really need it.

My electrician is setting me up next weekend so I’ll really be able to load test it again. I just wanted to get some run time on it first and make sure it all works
