My backyard is large and has several flower beds at the back of the property. How difficult would it be to run power to them (about 100 feet away) so i can add landscape lighting?

Previous owner had them and they did very little to light up the area. Perhaps there are better ones that I'm unaware of but have not been impressed with these.

depending on access - Not hard, but won't be cheap to bury that much line.

There are good solars, but will never be as good.

Not hard to do one’s self, direct burial low voltage only needs to be a couple of inches in the soil

You could go with low-voltage lighting. 120 V at the house and low-voltage wire run out to each light meaning you wouldn’t have to bury it very deep or run pipe as long as you’re not doing any digging

My direct bury low voltage is really just direct lay then kick mulch over.

You will need to use LED lights to reduce the wattage pull. You are limited to distance with low voltage but 100ft is no problem. I have centrally mounted 120v outlet and 150ft both ways.

Go deep enough that it won't get tagged by a lawn aerator...
