Outdoor Fan

We have an open patio about 25x15 and are looking for an outdoor fan. Looked at the 42" fan at HD. Would have to paint it , but the belt drive is much more quiet than the direct drive fans. Ive seen wall mount fans, but you cant really get that much air from an 18 inch fan. What id love to find is an old attic fan that someone built a wood frame for. Somewhat rustic. Appreciate any ideas or suggestions

Old attic fans are getting rarer than hen's teeth. The last one I saw, and had anything to do with, was my brother--in-laws when we removed his to put in an attic access stairway so we could get the central A/C and heat unit in his attic to finally get rid of the 5 window units and 2 floor furnaces he had.
If you want to move a lot of air with a smaller set-up, get an old A/C squirrel cage blower and build a box around it with heavy mesh front and back so the kids and pets can't get things torn up.
