Old electrical fuse box replacement question

We have an older fuse box on the outside of our residence that needs to be replaced with a circuit breaker panel. The first estimate we got was $3000-$4000. To me, that seems on the high end. Any suggestions on contractors would be appreciated. We’re in tho Nola area. Thanks again!

I received a ballpark quote on an upgraded panel from 100A tto 200A and it was $2000-3000.

New box $600 with main breaker
15 breakers at $40 $600
4 hours labor at $150 $600
$1,800
Thats not pulling any new wires

That’s a fair price from what I have seen lately.
