Northshore folks with residential propane tanks

Who do you use? We’re with LACOX right now but they've been an absolute pain in the arse. Because we live far out they require us to call and set up a refill instead of just filling up quarterly. And we haven’t been able to get a call back for 2 weeks. We also rent our tank so not sure how that would work. If the new company would buy the tank from LACOX and we rent from them or just continue to rent the tank from LACOX.

Are they requiring someone to be at home when they do the refill?

Robert area here. We use Vacherie Fuels. They have been really great. I will say, I've never inquired about quarterly fillups, not sure if they do that or not. I typically call for a fill up and they are there within 1-2 days. Don't need to be home when they fill up.
Not sure what you'd do about the rental tank. I do know that propane companies will not fill other company's rented tanks.
I think the owner of Vacherie fuels posts here, maybe he will chime in.

Blossman Gas in Gulfport. They come to St. Tammany weekly. Called for a refill to LaCox a week before Ida which was not filled as scheduled and after days of being told I was on the route which also never showed I flagged down a Blossman truck who filled me up and set up an account after the fact. Blossman came once more to top off before LaCox even showed up.
