One more question. I am waiting for my PRG seed to come in and my land has been bare dirt going on two weeks now. We haven't got any rain but weeds are already starting to pop up. Do i need to spray everything before planting the rye? Or do i need to provide the specifics of what's popping up to get a better answer?

Get you some 41% Glyphosate and go to town. It won't affect the rye germination once you're ready to seed.

You will have some weeds come in with the rye because of how much watering you'll be doing, so you really can't beat Tenacity given that it is labeled safe for seeding. I remember seeing somewhere that some starter fertilizers include tenacity, which may be worth looking into. Otherwise, white clover can be hell on ryegrass.

Just don't use it on warm season grass.
