re: Need some help with push mower not starting

Lot of good suggestions in here, but start simple. When I had this problem with my mower a few years ago at the start of cutting season, I banged my head against the wall an entire afternoon, only to discover I hadn't opened the gas line valve. I run all the gas out of it at the end of every cutting season.

Not sure if that B&S engine even has a gas shut off valve. My Troy-Bilt has the Honda engine and does.
