Appreciate everyone's input.

I wound up opting for the Milwaukee 24 inch battery powered trimmers. I also wound up buying an 8Ah HO battery, two 5 Ah XC batteries, and a dual bay fast charger. Got all that for about the same as the Stihl 2 stroker.

If my wife's doing the trimming, I don't see a lot of good to come from her messing with a 2 stroke and all that comes with that territory. Also, as someone mentioned earlier, it's not like it all needs to be trimmed that often. What I got should more than suffice for what I need it for. Plus, I just added extra Milwaukee batteries to my arsenal.

Baws, just wanted to give a thumbs up to the Milwaukee hedge trimmers. They did a helluva job. Started on a fully charged 8.0 Ah battery. Finished with two bars left on the same battery.

I let everything get away from me a bit, so it took a little longer to get it all done. I'll try and take pics here in the next day or so, as if any of y'all give a rat's arse about my trim job

A pic of the finished work. Should've taken a before and after

If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve, I'm all ears. Not sure if I trimmed the way it's supposed to be done, but it sure looks better than it did prior to trimming.
