Natchez crap myrtle

Walmart had there plants on sale. Bought one of these. Looks like 3 trees . Very small. Maybe 2 fr tall. Can I transplant 2 of them. Not sure if it would disrupt the root system. Seems to be they only have 1 huge trunk unlike other crap myrtles I've seen

Ok... I'm confused (which is nothing new)

So... are there three distinct trees, did you buy three trees, or is is one huge trunk that splits into three trunks?

It’s very common for Crape Myrtles to have multiple trunks. If it looks like this don’t try and divide LINK

Yes. It's in a gallon planting pot. 3 different trunks. So no splitting?

Nope. You can with perennials but not with a tree or shrub. Natchez gets bigger than what most websites say so keep that in mind where you plant it.

They can easily get to be 30 ft tall with a 20 ft spread.
