Sorry for all the questions. I was going to mow this afternoon and either apply after or tomorrow morning. Looking at the weather we have a 40% chance of rain tomorrow and a 50% chance Friday. Should I wait?

You’re here to learn - ask away.
This is what I would do: either cut the grass now and wait at least 48 hr to apply the herbicide, or apply the herbicide now, and wait 48 hr + to cut the grass. That is a pretty standard recommendation on most herbicides.
Rationale: You want you herbicide to contact the max amount weed foliage and be absorbed and cutting grass and immediately after applying herbicide afterwards minimizes the surface area of weeds you plan to spray. On the other hand, if you spray herbicide, let it dry and the cut grass (and weeds) within a few hours you are reducing the amount of time this systemic herbicide has to be absorbed by the targeted weeds.
As far as rain, for MSM Turf I believe it’s considered to be “rain fast” after several hours following application, meaning rain won’t affect its efficacy. Some herbicides are rain fast after an hour.
Usually this information is stated on the label of the herbicide, but not always. I looked at the MSM Turf label and it’s not stated.

Thanks for all the help!!
I also will be using the sprayer I had bleach in previously. Realized I had used a exterior siding cleaner mixed with bleach in it and then several months later used the weed b gone in it so I guess the sprayer is ok.

Bleach oxidizes (breaks down) quickly upon use so that is not a issue, but a quick rinse of the sprayer, including spraying water through the application wand, after use is always advisable.
