Mowing grass around a pond

I’m currently mowing as close as possible on the zero turn, then weedeating. Which has quickly became a PIA. I’m considering buying/building something to help manage this.
Anyone have experience with different options? I.e. off-set mowers, tractor attachments??
TIA

Welcome to pond life.
Everyone I know with a pond, this is how how they manage it.

I have a pond. Used roundup initially. It causes erosion. Wouldn’t do that. Could bulk head it

I can live with the little erosion. I spray about 6"-10" of the lip. Have no problem cutting the grass with my ZTR. Besides that, the bullfrogs like that area/mud.

Any ditch bank mower will work, the flails seem to be the way to go for smaller to mid sized tractors.
