Mold Inspection Recommendation?

My parents found some mold in their AC register boxes in BR. They want to have a mold inspection done to see if it's in other locations.
Google searches seem to give results for remediation rather than inspection. I feel like this is also an area where fear tactics could create some crazy price quotes, so recommendations for someone reasonable and honest would be helpful.

Likely is not mold but mildew, common in the humidity in the South, The "mold inspections" are a joke, I delt with this after the 2016 flood. Remove the registers and clean or replace them whichever is easier. Every hurricane or if they are on Entergy, a strong fart, power will go out. Humidity builds and there is mildew.

Can confirm. A guy did my house and it was very reminiscent of the King of the Hill episode about mold remediation.

Put a mold tester in the middle of room. Return hours later. If no results, you don’t know how to work tester.

I get why folks feel confident about the spot we’re in. Until someone clearly better pops up for the HC role, sticking with what’s working makes the most sense to me

Stanley Steamer can inspect and treat it. They will use UV lighting as necessary.

Just go down to the Lowe’s and get some Concrobium. Spray that on it and call it a day.

I can confirm that if you get a mold inspection you will 100% have mold! But in reality, you more than likely do not
