This is what I do - every other year I check the bearing oil level (YouTube on how to do this) and tighten the fan blade screws if needed to keep the blades from wobbling.

I’m going to try this before replacing the minka air fan on my back porch. It turns on but hardly spins and makes a noise.

Sounds like a capacitor. Minka Aire isn’t going to have oil for you to check

Well shite
I’m clueless when it comes to working on shite. Tried installing a smart thermostat and couldn’t get it to work so I gave up and going to have my electrician do it.
I was able to reinstall the old one.

If you have Hunter originals there’s an oil container you need to keep full. The good news is even if you seize it up, like the previous owner of my old house did, Hunter just gives you a new one.
