I'm fortunate that there's a business near me (DFW area) that manufactures using local products and I get compost , landscaping mix and really good mulch at better prices and much higher quality that what Lowes offers

the shredded bark is free I just pay the truck to pick up and dump

I pay a little more and have the compost screen to 1/4" to spread out in the yard. Well worth the upcharge.
