Thinking about hiring a company to spray for weeds, fertilize, etc. Any recommendations or should I not do it?

I like to DIY my yard now since I've put a lot of effort in trying to fix it up myself. Went ahead and paid to have a soil sample done so I can know exactly what I need to work on in regards to fertilization. It's really not that hard to do any of this. Biggest thing would be the time involved and making sure you stay on top of your yard in a timely manner.
If you have the tools to do it yourself (and the time) I would save the money and DIY. If you have the money to pay someone else to do it, go for it.

In BR, I use treppendahl landscape, they spray 4-5 times a year, I used to DYI but would forget etc. for me they do a good job and I don’t have to worry about it. I can definitely see a difference in my lawn.

I use Treppendahl also. I started late last year so they have only done pre-emergent treatments on my yard. Weeds I did have are dead, and none are growing. So far it is working. Will see how the growing season goes.
You pay per application and price is based off the size of the yard. They will quote you via email. My yard is a little bigger than 1/3 of an acre. ~$70/application
