Redoing landscape at the house. Total overhaul. what are everyone's thoughts on Makaira, Treppendahl or other similar companies?

I’ve used Samson Services the past 2 years for 2 different hard scape jobs and 1 landscaping job. It wasn’t a complete overhaul but they were easy to work with and I was pleased with their work.

I'm a downvote on Makaira unless you're OT baller rich. We got estimates from them when we were building our house and they were ridiculously expensive. Ended up using Green Escapes Nursery. They did good work at a reasonable price.

I'll second the rec for Sampson Services. Drew is a LSU-trained landscape architect who does as much hands-on work as his crew.

A third recommendation for Chris at Plantech. He helped me figure out what I wanted and when we were ready, he showed up on time and did the job
quickly and correctly. He and his staff were all wonderful to work with, also.
