Is lexel caulk non corrosive and safe to put on painted metal?

I need to waterproof caulk the bolts of my suv luggage rack.

Geocel makes a metal caulk for gutters. Stuff is great.

Went back to find the thread I brought this up in as there were other options. Looks like you started that one in May. Were you unable to locate any of the options mentioned here?
