Is a check valve for MODAD outlet required?

Just bought a house with a MODAD system. Is a check valve required/recommended for the outlet line?

Yes. Pretty sure they are required along with the filter bed. Mine is located at the end of the discharge line.

Yes, if you have a lift pump, pumping water out the tank. Also good to have one at the end of the line to prevent any high water back up.
