In response to OP: If you know the product being used lookup the installation instructions and see what the manufacturer recommends.

I can't see them. It I can hear and tell they're doing floors. They are supposed to do two kinds of flooring in the house. One is engineered (I know needs less time to acclimate) and the other Brazilian chestnut. Dude said floor was being delivered today and I hear them doing floors. So they are early.

Maybe they're just removing? I know our engineered required 0 acclimation time. It's held up well so far with no issues.

i don't think its a big deal, great if you can do it, but if not it should be fine, especially on a remodel. It's more ideal in new construction IMO.

engineered doesn't need to acclimate, take it from Home Depot and get to work
