Any one have a rec for an ice machine for the home garage?

For coolers for cold beer and fishing, etc.

Yes, we have a water line hook up in the garage.

I have a Koolaire (made by manitowoc). 450lb head and 350lb bin. It is water cooled and my garage has AC. It puts out some ice. I usually turn it on Wed evening and its almost full Thursday morning, run it all weekend. I got it for exactly what you listed. Use it even more than I expected.

Make sure you have a drain too.

I can't find it, but someone on here modified a regular freezer/fridge combo, and had the icemaker in the freezer constantly make ice, worked out awesome if I remember right.

This guy did one. He has several videos of his original version.

We have a Koolaire as well. I don't think its quite as big but I would say it holds around 150+ LBs of ice. Its in an un-air conditioned space and works great. Completely fills over night.
Didn't like the price but it paid for itself quickly.
