I pruned mine last week but I have no idea whether I should have or not!

I pruned mine back to about 24" above the ground last weekend.

Best not to prune hydrangeas; just dead head the old blooms.

Depends on the kind—some bloom from old wood and others from new wood.

I have limelights. Always found that they got super leggy if not pruned.
