How to repair 2" cut on tractor seat?

Any ideas? I was thinking a tire patch? I see some tire seat patch kits on amazon. Anyone had any luck with these? Thanks.

meh, once they start to crack and split its like rust and you cant stop it, you can buy a new seat for it, they arent that expensive LINK

Yeah that too or a garbage bag over the whole seat if you are feeling particularly lazy.
