I have a two fall raised garden box that I grow vegetables and herbs in. Last weekend, I gave my teenage son the task of spraying Talstar on some ant piles around the yard. Long story short, he sprayed down by raised bed too. Did a general spray and soaked pretty good two large ant piles.
How fricked am I?

Shouldn’t be an issue - though Talstar (bifenthrin) is not labeled for use on vegetable gardens, other bifenthrin products are, particularly for commercial vegetable production. You might wait a bit, 1 month? on consuming the herbs. Do to have fall vegetables that need to be harvested?

The only things present are a couple herbs. Nothing really from a fall/winter garden.

I use talstar in/near my garden. No issues.

Similar lol story: I keep talstar in a granular fertilizer container to spot hit piles. It’s labeled, no issue. Anyway, I gave it to my MIL because the said she had an ant pile she needed to get rid off. She gave it back empty. She put about a quart of talstar on one and pile. When I reacted to the empty container she asked if she did something wrong. I said “no but you’ll never have ants in that spot for about 1000 years.”

Id put some worms or other healthy bioforms in there in a few months to get your soil going again
