Help With Painted Concrete Floor Redo

My concrete carport floor has been painted twice, by me, and it's time to freshen it up again. I've discovered that it's a big PIA to get the old paint off and I'm considering hiring some help to maybe grind it off. Not sure how much needs to come off but some of the existing has flaked off.
Pressure washing helped somewhat but is not going to be the solution.
I tried a chemical remover on a small section and that made a gooey mess.
It's about 500 sq/ft. Do I need to grind it? Rent and do it myself or hire someone? Any recommendations?

Definitely grind. Get an angle grinder and some knee pads. Wear a mask cause the dust is no bueno. I would consider wet grinding to keep the dust down.
Probably not worth hiring out. 500 sq/ft is not worth coming out for a deco flooring contractor.
Triple A might have a floor grinder for rent.

I would rent one of the big surface grinders that looks like a floor buffer. Home Depot and others have them. We did it at my brother's house a few years ago after trying to do it with a grinder and dust shroud attachment. It worked well, but it was going to take way too long and destroy knees and backs in the process. Rental cost for the machine is worth it 100%.
