Help with a design/idea

I am moving into a new place that has a good sized deck just outside the backdoor and would like to be able to hook a TV up out there. I do not want to attach anything to the house as I am renting. Below is my idea. I was thinking about getting a post that I can mount the TV to but I also want to be able to hide the post when it is not in use. So I would like something that can swivel and lay parallel to porch to hide it. Open to suggestions, TIA.
Use a bracket like above and a u bolt to hold it in place when its in the upright position.

Gonna look tacky as hell. Has the landlord forbade you from adding a bracket to the exterior?

We used something like this to mount our TV to the ceiling of our back porch. It folds up to protect it from rain and elements when it is not in use. Has worked out great for 3 years.
Flip up mount
I couldn't imagine a few screw holes to have something that looks nice would be that big of a deal.

I guess I should have said a deck instead of a porch. It is not covered.

What about something like this?
Use two lag bolts that would go through both the rails to keep it from tipping over (and distributes the load). It would work.
And yes, I know my artwork sucks

This is what I was attempting to depict in my shitty drawing . Then my thought was to drill 2 holes at a downward angle on the sides of the post then just slide in the u bolt to hold it up. When I am done remove the u bolt and let it lay back down parallel with the porch.

Do you think I would need to use a 4x4 post for a 42" TV?
