What’s the going rate for gutters and installation in SW Louisiana?

In east Texas you are looking at 7-8 dollars a linear foot.

I'm in N LA. We charge $8.50-9 a linear foot for 6" seamless on just a standard single story home.
Just make sure you get a 6" seamless. 5" gutters are garbage. And if your house has drip edge, make sure they slide the back side of the gutters under the drip edge. If they don't go behind the drip edge your fascia will eventually start to rot because it will hold moisture behind your gutters.

I was just quoted $36/ft, for 6" gutters with Leaf filter screens. Crazy high.

Keep this in mind. There are no Building Specs for downspouts or locations. However, your insurance company goes ape if a downspout drains across a sidewalk or onto a driveway. Slip Risk ....

Paid 7.75/lf in north Atlanta for gutters and downspouts. $4/lf for gutter guards.

leaf Filter is the biggest joke ever. I have no idea how they trick people into using their product. It's insane.
We have a $3, $5, and $8 a LF price on gutter guards. The $5 a LF option is a better product than the Leaf Filter system. Drives me nuts when I hear the quotes with the Leaf Filter guards on them.
