Gravely engine

Howdy all,

There have been a few ZTR threads (hundreds) in the past few weeks and some have me thinking. I have a perfectly great Gravely HD, but what else is out there?

Gravely has a Pro Turn Z that comes with their own branded engine, 26.5hp. Google tells me that Loncin (China) makes their engine for them.

The Pro Turn Z has some decent upgrades over the HD (flex forks, 3.5 more HP, vibration seat mounts, and better warranty).

However, how does the Gravely/Loncin engine compare to the Kawasaki FR? I dont need nor want a new mower right now, but my interset is peaked.

I do want the Spartan RT PRo. 54" deck and 35hp Kawi. $10,000 and some change is the problem.
