They’re awesome. I have 2 customers that have them, and their pools feel amazing. If I had a pool, I would definitely install one. They’re a little finicky to get set right, but it’s not really an issue if you have a cartridge filter since you’re not having to close the valves in order to backwash. Also, living there and being able to keep a constant eye on it is an advantage I don’t have lol

I always wondered if those triangle sail shades made a significant difference in pool temps. I was at a friend's house who had one and everyone pretty much hung out under the shade the whole time. Why everyone's whole pool needs to be blasted with full sun all the time is a mystery to me, but maybe i don't understand pool chemistry.

I don't leave mine up year round but have it up whenever we have people over and they tend to congregate under it. I have an el cheapo off amazon i got but have ben meaning to get a better one thats a little bigger.
