Garden slugs!

So I went out tonight and noticed some of my flowers drooping... looked closer and there were slugs crawling on them. Should I be worried about this, and if so how to I eradicate these bastards?? This is our first flower bed and we busted arse on it.... really want it to last.
I have suspend SC and Bifen XTS... will spraying the flowers with these be safe/eff effective?

If you’re that worried about them, go buy some cheap beer and put in styrofoam plates or bowls. Bury said plates/bowls enough so slugs can crawl into them. Voila! Next morning you have drunk/drowned slugs floating in the beer. Works like a charm.

Came to post the same advice. Works great too for ridding the garden of those slimy bastages.
